Sid and Linda`s Seafood Market & Restaurant in Jacksonville

Had the Grouper basket for lunch today. The cocktail sauce was the best I’ve ever had. I usually have to doctor it with horseradish n hot sauce but not needed here. Slaw was exactly as my Mom makes it, yum. And the hush puppies were to die for. Awesome experience!!!

The food is great value for the portions you get! Fried shrimp, calamari, fried basa, and a side of hushpuppies is the family's go-to.(You can order by the pound if you ask!)The staff is very nice and attentive.

I am from Iowa, every time I come to FLORIDA I want real Seafood, you know, like we see on the food network, everything we have tried came up short of expectations and was very expensive.. Well..finally we find this Gem of a restaurant.. Fresh, well seasoned, lightly battered, clean, affordable, large variety, friendly service and a fish market to boot..I will be back!!!!

This place is a great hidden gem. Never super packed but the food is amazing and the staff is great. Highly recommend 👌🐟🍤

Seafood was fresh we can say. The cook blackened my fish but I wanted it fried. This action changed my view of coming back the cook had the hostess have me put the blackened fish on a saucer so took it away? My party and I never viewed anything thing like that as if they will serve it during this pandemic. In future I spend extra to get better service. . We came in and waited 5 minutes just to see someone to order food and self sit down

Market side has good selection of fresh seafood and you can pick something for your meal in the restaurant. We had the special...grilled triggerfish and it was fresh and delicious. The plantains and hush puppies were so good. Love the food and the service in this family restaurant.

Delicious, fresh seafood with great portions and prices! The staff was really nice and the restaurant was so cute! All around a wonderful experience and we will be back,!

Located in a busy shopping center Sid and Lindas has very good seafood that is reasonably priced. It’s very casual, serving mostly shrimp baskets, and having a small fish market upfront they will cook the fish you. Choose to eat in or take it home to cook it’s always fresh. Service is slow and not well coordinated.

Great food with attention to customer service

Food was excellent!! Be sure to try the crab dip!! All the staff are great!! Helpful, fast and on point!! Make a point to get dessert even if it is to go. Today they had their coconut pineapple cake!! It was divine!!

Shrimp dip was tasty and good. Also got the fried grouper sandwich, which was big and delicious. The bun was soft on the outside and toasted on the inside. The grilled grouper taco was good as well.

The service is excellent and always friendly and quick. The shrimp is perfectly cooked everytime! And... they have the best hush puppies I've every eaten! I don't know what they do that others don't but they are delicious! It immediately became our favorite seafood restaurant.

The seafood is great. Sid greeted us upon arrival and his staff are polite and courteous. The seafood are on display when you enter the establishment. I enjoyed the create your own basket with fried fish, shrimp, along with white rice and green beans. I will return to try other items on the menu. I recommend in the event you do not have time to call ahead as the food is prepared while you wait. In the event you have time sit down and enjoy.
